Adult Therapy

Starting therapy can be a challenging journey, and my primary goal is to provide a space that is accepting, calm, and helpful. Because every individual is unique, I focus on identifying what specifically creates a supportive environment for you. During our first session, my main objective will be to get to know you and learn more about what brought you to therapy.

I have experience working with adults on various concerns, including ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidal ideation, self-harm, relationship struggles, life transitions, and stress management. I utilize a person-centered approach rooted in patience, understanding, and thoughtful reflection. Additionally, I help clients build practical skills using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Executive Functioning Support, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).

What to expect from therapy

Our first point of contact will be a brief 15-minute phone call. This is an opportunity for me to learn more about what you are looking for in therapy.

If you feel we are a good fit after this conversation, our first session will be an intake. During this meeting, we will review paperwork, discuss confidentiality, and continue to explore what brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. The intake is also a great time for you to ask questions and ensure that I am the right therapist for you.

After three or four sessions, I will develop a treatment plan to guide our work toward your goals. These plans are specific to each individual's needs and expectations. We will review your treatment plan frequently to assess progress, and I always welcome your feedback or questions about the therapy process.
